International Cultural Festival, the most internationally-oriented event organized by the Center of Chinese Language and Culture, finally returned on April 25, 2023, after a three-year hiatus. Even local students passing by could not resist stopping to watch and enjoy. Meanwhile, two Japanese students dressed in yukata offered traditional Japanese handmade matcha tea and snacks, creating long queues of excited students and teachers waiting to try. The Thai students also dressed up in elaborate traditional clothing and br ought unique Thai-style pastries. At first glance , these pastries appeared as colorful food models with different shapes, but they actually had a honey cake texture on the inside coated with jelly, which tasted novel and delicious.French students prepared homemade rustic French pastries and engaged the audience with witty humor and interactive games, making everyone laughing and enjoying the moment. Vietnamese students showcased their creativity by making fresh spring rolls, which attracted long queue of participants. Even after using up all their ingredients, some students still had to wait for their turn to try the delicious rolls. Indonesian students not only brought well-known Nyonya snacks but also prepared traditional Indonesian toys. Although these toys were simple, they captured the hearts of everyone, reminding us that happiness is universal and that people of any age can still experience simple joys.Vietnamese students showcased their creativity by making fresh spring rolls, which attracted long queue of participants.
